Welcome to Sunguti Safaris!

Providing year-round trophy hunting opportunities since 2009, Sunguti Safaris has provided memorable experiences at accessible prices for all of our clients.

What to expect as a potential client

The Sunguti Safaris Lodge and surrounding property is over 3,700 acres in size, residing within the Limpopo province of South Africa. The property is just .62 miles from the Botswana border and 26 miles north of the town of Lephalale, South Africa.

We specialize in trophy hunting for plains and dangerous game in the Limpopo, Free State, and Kwazulu Natal Provinces of South Africa and also nearby Zimbabwe for bow and rifle hunters alike. We are licensed to hunt 365 days a year, and can work around your schedule.

Limpopo province is home to all of the dangerous 7 (Cape Buffalo, Crocodile, Elephant, Hippo, Leopard, Lion, and Rhino). Sunguti Safaris is home to 3 of the 7 (Cape Buffalo, Crocodile, and Leopard) as well as all of the bushveld and mountain antelope species.

Over the course of your stay you will see over 20 species of animals ranging from the very small (Bat-eared fox and Duiker) to the very large (Cape Buffalo and Giraffe). Seeing less than 40 animals a day would be considered a “bad” day. Our Professional Hunters (PHs) will ensure that you get a mature trophy you can be proud of no matter what species you decide to hunt.

Sunguti Safaris guests will have the opportunity to trophy hunt on our private hunting property as well as surrounding concessions totaling more than 100,000 additional acres, where each hunting party will be the sole hunter on each concession.

Hunters can expect to travel between 5 and 45 minutes for each hunt that they embark on.
